Owner Michelle Rossi-Voorhees along with her talented staff have been producing fine window treatments and gorgeous soft furnishings for the design trade since 1991. Having studied in the U.S. and Italy Michelle is an accomplished artist with a fine arts degree in sculpture and has been working with textiles since the late ‘70’s.
In 2005 Michelle was joined by husband John Voorhees who brings a construction and service background to the business. A former Marine with degrees from the University of Massachusetts John also spent a decade in the Oriental rug business and is no stranger to the design world. He enjoys conceptualizing and implementing hardware layouts for even the trickiest situations.
Together Michelle and John have built MRV Exclusives, Inc. into a full service workroom to the design trade where all sewn items are produced in their workroom and installed by John and his team. Their work may be found regularly in magazines and many fine homes throughout New England, the U.S., and even Europe.
While MRV Exclusives, Inc. specializes in all manner of custom sewn treatments they also sell motorized and non-motorized shades and blinds as well as interior shutters and specialty hardware from the top manufacturers in the industry.
